Alumni Seminar for IIUI Last Semester Students

Skill Development & Resume Building

The office of Alumni is organizing an Alumni Seminar (Skill and Resume Development), for the Last semester students of IIUI Male Section.

The Seminar would be conducted by our Alumnus Mr. Bilal Farooq a graduate from the Faculty of Management Sciences 1999. He currently is an Entrepreneur and has conducted many Workshops in major universities throughout Pakistan.

The Seminar will be held on Wednesday 3rd March 2021, at 12:00PM in the auditorium of Faculty Block 2.

All last semester students of Male section are invited to attend the seminar and learn about the job market trends and how to build up your Resume and skills for a better chance to score a reputable job in this competitive market.

Alumni Photography Workshop

The office of Alumni and FSS Dept. of Media & Communications organized a Photography Workshop for the female students of IIUI. The workshop was held at the Seminar room of Fatima Block IIUI Female Campus. The event was honored by Vice-President Female Campus Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, In charge Alumni Office Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar, HOD Media & Communication Dr. Amrat Haq, FSS Media Alumni Focal Person Ms. Siddra Huma and Assistant Director Alumni Mr. Muhammad Ashraf.

The workshop was conducted by our Alumni Ms. Masooma Ahmad Zubairi Alumni of FSS Media& Communication 2009. She is also the CEO of MZ Productions.

The workshop started with the recitation of the holy Quran, the workshop mentor started the workshop by educating the students of what’s the difference between photos portrait, landscape and documentary. She shared her personal experiences and how she became the CEO of a company. She mentioned her struggles as a women and how it is necessary to follow your passion.

The workshop taught the student about camera angles, lenses, camera body types. Some of the jargons related to photography and also involved the students in captioning pictures that tells a story.

Masooma gathered the students and made them look at pictures and how 1 picture can be perceived differently. She taught them on how to look at things and how to focus on it. Sometimes the simplest things can give out the strongest messages and that message is what makes a picture strong.

She also announced that she is giving out 3 internships to the students present there.

After the workshop the Guest of honor Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia congratulated the efforts of the Alumni office and dept. of media & comm for this workshop that benefits the students. And provided souvenirs to the Alumni.
