Sheikh Ahtsham Ahmed is an Alumnus of the Faculty of Management Sciences who graduated with a Master’s Degree in 2006 from IIUI. Currently he is working as a “Deputy General Manager” at “National Bank of Pakistan- Bishkek Branch – Kyrgyzstan”.
He is a Professional Banker and a founding Director for ACAMS Euroasia Chapter. He started his career with National Bank of Pakistan in 2007; a Govt. owned bank of Pakistan. Since then he held a number of positions with various departments of this Institution. Lastly, since 2017, he is deputed as Deputy General Manager at NBP Bishkek Branch of Kyrgyz Republic.
Mr. Ahtsham holds an MBA degree in Finance and further an MS in HR. He completed these both academic qualifications with multiple distinctions and finally earned Gold Medal for both degree qualifications.
Besides this, on his Professional Credentials, He is a Fellow member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan and an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Bankers Scotland, UK. Apart from this, He is also a Certified Islamic Banker from National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF-SBP) PK and now an ACAMS member.
From the last three years, in the role of DGM, he is working on risk management, compliance and internal control functions. He is Member of different Management Committees e.g. ALCO, HR, Risk Management, Credit Committee at NBP Bishkek Operations.
