 Engr. Muhammad Ahsen Mirza

Director Business Incubation Center, International Islamic University

Mr. Ahsen Mirza started his journey in IIUI back in the year 2000 with a Master’s Degree in Information & Technology from the Faculty of Management Sciences, class of 2000-2002.

 

He is an entrepreneur with a strong engineering background and teaching experience at graduate level. He has a vast amount of knowledge in business incubation Management and entrepreneurship.

His portfolio has considerable achievements from Manager Industrial Liaison and Professional Development and managing student affairs at COMSATS, to becoming a project director where he established the COMSATS University Business Incubation Center (Cubator 1ne) facility at CIIT Islamabad.

He recently trained 180 male and female entrepreneurs on ILO’s SIYB training package under USAID’s and UNDP’s FERP also working as a Director Training and Development.
He is also the founding and current director of the Business Incubation Center at IIUI Islamabad for the betterment of research, development and commercialization through entrepreneurial activities of faculty, staff and students.

Engr. Ahsen is a member of the Advisory Council for the Business Incubation Center of National
Textile University Faisalabad. He also successfully completed a short course on Management of Incubation Center from the University of Queensland Brisbane Australia in the year 2015.

In addition, he has established a strong working relationship with HEC of Pakistan, Local and
international universities and various Business Incubation Centers and has been a member of
HEC’s evaluation committee for establishment of BICs at various universities.

Currently he and the BIC cater to many Alumni who have started their start-ups at IIUI BIC.

He guides/mentors them and provides avenues where the entrepreneurs begin to develop their business and create prosperous opportunities for investors to view and invest in their ideas.
