Mr. Ariful Islam started his journey in IIUI back in the year 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Sciences, class of 2005-2009.
He
is currently working as a Senior Specialist- Private Sector Engagement, SanMark Scale
Up Project in Bangladesh.
He is a jack of all trades when it comes to his professional career. He has 10 years of experience particularly more than 05 years of managerial experiences in WASH, Partnership Management, Microfinance, Market system development approach( M4P), Capital Market in international and national development organizations ( iDE Bangladesh, BRAC International-Pakistan Country Program, Brac NGO Bangladesh, Standard Chartered Bank & UNCDF Myanmar). Also more than 2.5 years of working experience are directly in the micro-finance program from two foreign countries (Pakistan & Myanmar).
Now, being a development professional, he has worked as a
market system development expert in the WASH sector to support the BoP consumer
through contributing and utilizing along with his previous experiences to serve
rural consumers as well as linking with local/regional/national private sector
companies and financial service providers.
Recently he has been awarded for his outstanding work
consequtively for 5 years with IDE Bangladesh. We at the Office of Alumni are
proud and honored to know that our precious Alumni are performing well and
making their alma mater proud of their achievements. Mashallah
We wish him the
best in his professional career ahead. We pray that his journey as Senior
Specialist at SanMark Scale Up Project at
iDE (International Development Enterprises) be a successful
